About Me

Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years.

Welcome to the portfolio of Erica Lee, an award-winning journalist with a backstory unlike any seen before.

At 33, she went back to school to get her Associates in Arts in journalism after being inspired from encounters she had with writers, ranging from travel bloggers to war correspondents, through her job at the Los Angeles International Airport.

Three years later, she graduated from El Camino College. In her time on The Union student newspaper, she worked as a copy editor, news editor and then Editor-in-Chief.

She specializes in writing about food, travel and pop culture. In her spare time, she likes thrifting, skating, and going to the theater.

“You can make anything by writing.”
